Share outdoor explorations and learning experiences with other curious naturalists at our monthly Master Naturalist Club! We will connect with experts and hone our skills, meeting at field locations around Missoula.
This club is only open to certified Master Naturalists (any state certification is valid).
October Topic: A Naturalist Visits Costa Rica, with Kelly Dix
Location: Montana Natural History Center
Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Join Kelly on a virtual tour through northwestern Costa Rica and learn about ¡Pura Vida! Costa Rica is a hotspot of biodiversity, and Kelly is easily distracted by the beauty of the natural world. She was in awe of the butterflies and other insects, birds, flora, and reptiles of the country, from the beach to the rainforest to the dry forest.
Kelly is a retired toxicologist who is making up for years in the lab by spending her time wondering and wandering about the natural world. She is a certified Montana Master Naturalist and considers herself a “naturalist with a camera.” Kelly loves to share her discoveries with others.
