'A Homecoming:' Art Alumni Invitational Exhibition
About this event
Featuring the work of 100 invited UM alumni artists from the last 60 years, this inaugural exhibition brings together an exceptional range of artistic voices, perspectives, and media. Selected by a jury of current and former School of Art faculty and community arts leaders, the exhibition highlights the remarkable breadth of talent that has emerged from the University of Montana while honoring the enduring impact of its alumni across Montana, the region, and beyond.
'A Homecoming:' Art Alumni Invitational Exhibition opens on Sept. 28 and runs through Oct. 22. For gallery hours, visit the Gallery of Arts website.
The College of the Arts and Media also invites the public to its Homecoming Reception at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, also in the Gallery of Art on campus in the Social Sciences Building.
Admission to the gallery and homecoming reception is free. The exhibition will conclude with a panel discussion featuring several alumni artists moderated by Dr. Rafael Chac n, director of the Montana Museum of Art and Culture, at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Gallery of Arts.
