About this program
5-week session with Cookie Cup at Marshall Mountain in the last week! Join the ZTD family! Something for every level of rider from balance bike to teen. Fee includes ZTD team swag. Practice may be cancelled occasionally due to inclement weather. Cancelled practices cannot be rescheduled due to running into cold, dark and wet late October weather. PLEASE NOTE: As the ZTD program has grown, we have learned that training wheels often frustrate and hold back young riders who are learning to ride single-track. ZTD is designed to be welcoming to all, but we have come to the difficult decision that training wheels don’t meet the needs of participants or the program. ZTD riders should be on two wheels or a balance bike. Email ZTD Program Supervisor Nonie Cobb at cobbn@ci.missoula.mt.us for tips on teaching kids to ride without training wheels. For kids on push bikes who are not pedaling yet.
