About this program
On Center’s competitive company is comprised of passionate and dedicated dancers who want to go beyond dancing recreationally. Company members excel in technique and performance quality while also being leaders of the studio and the Missoula Community.
During auditions, dancers will be selected to join either Level 1 or Level 2 based on technical execution. Level 1 is for beginner to intermediate dancers who have competed for fewer than 2 years and these groups learn a routine that they compete at a local competition (Coeur d'Alene, Spokane, or Bozeman). Level 2 dancers are selected for style-specific routines in Musical Theater, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz, and may compete a solo, duo, or trio at multiple conventions around the country. Requirements include an audition, Sunday Competition Rehearsals, and enrollment in Ballet, Jazz, and other classes of the dancer's choosing.
