About this camp

Participating in a horse camp is a great way to build a child’s self-confidence and help them develop good decision making skills. Horse camp promotes independence while the child learns responsibility and teamwork. It is a great place to build bonds and friendships to last a lifetime!

Camps consist of many hours in the saddle (around 4 a day!), learning all about what it takes to care for horses, horse parts, horsemanship, feeding, grooming, washing, manure scooping, etc. The campers may also have the to opportunity to play ranch games, swim in the Bitterroot River, and participate in arts & crafts and nature education.
