Approach
Mountain Peak and Glacier Peak Preschool use the Creative Curriculum for their main curriculum. In addition to that, our learning is mostly guided by the needs of the children. We use the Montana Early Learning Standards to track development and keep data on our children to track mastery of skills.

Philosophy

At Mountain Peak Preschool and Childcare (MPP) and Glacier Peak Preschool (GPP) we believe in teaching the whole child. We want to engage and foster each child's individual strengths and build upon those. We know how important a language-rich environment is in laying the foundations for early literacy skills.

A typical day

Students have many opportunities to learn in morning circle and center time. Students can then practice these skills during free play and exploration where they can predict, hypothesize, question, dramatize, create, and so much more to show their learning.
