Program type
School, Preschool
Approach
AMP can be described as expansive. It combines both active and reflective approaches to learning through interdisciplinary studies in the context of collaborative projects in which adolescents work alongside specialists to achieve socially and economically meaningful goals.
Meals
12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Lunch – Children bring healthy lunches from home, and are invited to sit with friends to enjoy this social mealtime. Children scheduled for Half Day are picked up at this time.

Philosophy

We believe God created each one of us in His image, with unique capacities and abilities, and that He revealed Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ. We therefore support each child as a holistic and precious being, we respect each child as an individual, and we work to support each child’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

A typical day

8:30 – 11:30 a.m. The first three hours of the day make up our ‘morning work cycle.’ Children work both independently and in small groups. Full group meetings can also happen, especially to celebrate birthdays, to share Bible stories, or to enjoy language and movement games. Snack is available during this time and, weather permitting, the outdoor space is used as an extension of the classroom.
