Our goal is to provide a welcoming, nurturing Montessori environment for young children, which guides them in reaching their full potential.

How to join

At MVM we use a rolling enrolment policy. This means once we receive your application, your child will be added to a waitlist.

Philosophy

At Missoula Valley Montessori we adhere to these tenets: a well prepared environment with attention to sequence, order, beauty and detail; the finest Montessori materials which instill independence, concentration and self correction and teachers who are keen observers, fully trained and well prepared.

A typical day

8:30 Children arrive, hang up coats, visit with friends, wave goodbye 8:40 Children gather for morning circle 8:50 - 11:30 Independent work time 11:30 - 12:30 Recess (we go outside unless it is dangerously cold so please send appropriate outdoor clothing) 12:30 - 1:00 Lunch 1:00 - 3:00 Science, arts and culture will be explored during this time.
