Approach
We are inspired by the early childhood education work of Jesus Christ, Dr. Maria Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, the educators and mothers of post-war Reggio Emilia, Italy among many other professionals, but most of all by the amazing children we serve.
Meals
We provide a morning and afternoon snack for our children. If a child stays for lunch, it is the responsibility of the parent to provide a healthy meal for their child. We are safe for children with food allergies. We are always Peanut and Tree-nut free and may accept students with other food related allergies.

Philosophy

The Good Shepherd Preschool believes that each child is a unique individual deserving a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.

A typical day

Our daily lessons include: individual thematic activities, circle, center time, small group instruction, snack, recess, and craft/art opportunities. During center time, the children have the opportunity to make choices.
