My Octopus Teacher (2020)

Organized by International Wildlife Film Festival

About this event

In the kelp forests off the coast of South Africa, filmmaker Craig Foster forges an unusual connection with a female octopus, learning as she teaches him about her ways and her world. Produced by Netflix and released in the fall of 2020, My Octopus Teacher proved that even at the height of COVID-19 there was still a public appetite for wildlife filmmaking.
