The Fair will return in 2027 for two unforgettable weekends and 8 exciting days of food, carnival rides, arena action, live entertainment, community traditions, and plenty of surprises along the way.

In 1913, Missoula County purchased land on South Avenue for $16,000. The following year, the Western Montana Fair opened on the new site, complete with racetrack, barns, exhibition halls, and wooden grandstands for thousands of spectators.
