To ensure each child receives nutritious meals, our program participates in the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

To ensure each child receives nutritious meals, our program participates in the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Teachers and classroom staff model healthy food habits as we practice family-style meal patterns. The following meals are offered: full day classes are served breakfast, lunch, and snack; morning classes are served breakfast and lunch.

How to get help

Complete this form to begin the Head Start application process, then email 12 months of income verification, the child's birth certificate, and immunization records to the Family Services Manager; a staff member will contact you to set up an in person interview to finalize the application within 3 business days.

Who qualifies

Child Start, Inc. provides comprehensive childcare and educational services at no cost to qualifying families, including those that address the mental, social, and emotional development of children from 3 to 5 years of age.
