Montana Developmental Disabilities Program Missoula access

About this service

This waiver pays for support services to help Montanans with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live in their homes and communities, instead of an institution. There is a lengthy wait time for these services and people are encouraged to request placement on the waiting list as soon as eligibility has been established.

Services provided to eligible persons through the Developmental Disabilities Program are available at no cost to individuals of any age. Many kinds of services are offered through providers in communities or self-directed options. This support is separate from other assistance that is provided through schools, Medicaid, private insurance, Social Security, and other sources.
