About this service

Reach Higher Montana helps Montana students achieve personal success in college, career, and life.

RHM holds an annual Youth in Foster Care Summit every June. The purpose of the summit is to help youth in foster care experience life on a college campus, learn about available resources to achieve education and career goals, and connect with peers from across Montana. Students apply for the opportunity to attend the Summit; for applications, visit with your Chafee provider.

Who qualifies

Was in foster care at age 18, "aged out" of foster care and is not yet 26 years old; or, Was in foster care and after their 16th birthday, permanency was established through a court ordered guardianship or adoption.
