About this service
Saturday food distribution: guests pick fruit, dairy, and bakery items in the Perishable Room every week and receive a Food Box of canned foods, cereals, crackers, and meat two Saturdays each month.
Saturdays we distribute 4000-5000 pounds of food to hundreds of our neighbors from 10 AM – 12 PM. We have volunteer positions that drive our delivery trucks, inspect and repackage food, greet our guests, review paperwork and answer questions about program guidelines, and fill food boxes.
How to get help
Come Saturday around 9:30 AM; first-time guests complete paperwork and an intake form reviewed with a City Foods Volunteer.
