Safer Montana school and family safety reporting

Listed under Domestic violence & victim support

About this service

Safer Montana is an online resource for Montana students, parents, teachers and local authorities to report bullying and school safety threats and incidents.

Technicians receive the tip and, if necessary, forward the information to an appropriate responding agency. Some situations require that tips be forwarded to more than one entity. For example, a tip involving a weapon brought to school is forwarded to school officials and to local law enforcement. Tip content and circumstances vary, so appropriate follow-up action will vary as well.

How to get help

Students can report tips through the web form on the Safer Montana website, or if it’s more accessible by text, email, live call and mobile app.
