About this place

Disco MTB Park features smooth and flowy trails for all types of riders with progression-friendly features; trails are consistently raked and maintained to avoid the jarring brake bumps or loose rocky surfaces that kill your fun. Our trails are grouped below into flow- and technical-style trails. Read our trail descriptions to decide where to start your day - and where to head from there.

Arrival
Getting to Discovery, whether you're coming from Missoula, Butte or Helena, isn't much of a trek. 95% of the trip is on a major highway or interstate. Plus, the road from Georgetown Lake is plowed and well maintained.
Parking
Continue 1.5 miles to the Silver Chief Parking Lot.
Difficulty
Not intended or maintained for novice and beginning riders; pro-level features and terrain appropriate only for riders at an intermediate, advanced or pro level.
Fees
Daily lift tickets and season passes are bought online; children ages 0-5 ski free with a paying adult; the Easy Chair and Totemoff Carpet are free to ride for people of all ages.
Hours
Winter season early Dec weather permitting - April 4; lifts 9:30 A.M. - 4 P.M.; backside lifts 10 A.M. - 3:45 P.M.; cafe 10 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. by reservation; Tap 'er Lite Bar open Fri - Sun 10am - 5pm; ticket office 9 A.M. - 4 P.M.; rental shop must reserve online; half-day tickets 12:30 P.M.; summer season mid May - mid October, Sat-Sun 11am-5pm.
Dogs
Animals generally not allowed on lifts and trails; trained service animals can be accommodated by contacting the ski area.
Use rules
Riders must be at least 7 years of age. Helmets and closed toe shoes are required for all riders. Privileges will be revoked for breach of Discovery MTB Code.
