Arrival
Fish Creek State is located conveniently off Interstate 90, about 41 miles west of Missoula, making it easily accessible to residents and travelers.
Parking
The department may designate and sign individual parking spaces or groups of parking spaces for vehicle parking, boat trailer parking, day use parking, and registered camper parking at public use sites. Parking outside of these designated, signed parking spaces is prohibited.
Fees
Montana residents who pay the $9 state parks fee with their annual vehicle registration have no daily entrance fees to state parks. For residents who don't include this in their vehicle registration, non-resident day use fees apply. Nonresidents Day use entrance fee with a vehicle: $8 Day use entrance fee as a walk-in, bicycle or bus passenger: $4 With a Nonresident Entrance Pass: Free

Fish Creek State Park has a network of old logging roads, including a 70-mile series of “open” roads, that allow motorized use, and “closed” roads, that are available for hiking and nonmotorized use.
