From Darby, MT travel north for 4 miles on Highway 93. Turn west (left) onto Lake Como Rd. Follow for 4 miles and continue past the lake and the boat launch, road will become National Forest Road #550. Travel approximately 3 miles past the boat launch to the trailhead. The last 1/4 mile can be rocky; there is another parking lot just prior to this that is accessible by car.

The trailhead can accommodate approximately 4 passenger vehicles. Trailers are not recommended at this site.
