This trailhead provides access to the McCormick Creek Trail #708. A short 1.5 mile hike on this trail takes visitors to the summit of McCormick Peak and expansive views of the Ninemile Valley and Flathead Reservation. Visitors can also travel the entire 4 mile trail to Joesphine Peak and a junction with Josephine Trail #155 and Reservation Divide Trail #98.1.

From I-90 exit 82, take frontage road northwest for 1.4 miles. Turn right on Remount Road for 2.6 miles. Slight left on Ninemile Road #412 for 7.9 miles. Right on McCormick Creek Road #392 for 2.3 miles. Slight left on Josephine Ridge Road #4213 for 7.6 miles. Parking on right, trail begins straight ahead on old roadbed.

All trails are open yearlong, but the Josephine Ridge Road #4213 is open to motor vehicles beyond the junction with Road #890 only from 6/16 - 10/14.
