This trailhead allows hikers to approach the summit of Ch-Paa-Qn Peak via the Reservation Divide Trail #98.3. The 3 mile trail to the junction below the summit is slightly longer than the route from Ch-Paa-Qn Trailhead, but with a trailhead elevation of 6200 ft, this route gains significantly less elevation.

- From Interstate 90, take Exit 82. Turn north on frontage road for 1.4 miles. Turn right on Remount Road for 2.6 miles. Slight right on Edith Peak Rd No 476-1, passing ranger station on the left, for 1.1 miles. Slight right to stay on Road #476-1 for 1.3 miles. Right to stay on Road #476-1 for 7.1 miles. Road #476 is very steep, rocky and rough.
