About this program

MSEF's Alpine Race Team is designed for skiers 12-19 years old interested in competitive ski racing.

Alpine Race is geared toward those athletes moving up from the Griz and Devo programs with an interest in learning racing or continuing to develop skiing fundamentals using racing techniques and tactics. The Alpine Race team continues this development path to provide opportunities for high level competition as skiers grow in skill and age. The Alpine Race Team utilizes the United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS) development fundamentals to provide age and skill appropriate instruction, and following USSS's long term athlete development ratios of free skiing, technical drills and training courses. We believe that the best skiers make the best racers, and we utilize all of Snowbowl's terrain to develop passionate, well rounded skiers that can rip both the mountain and the race course.
