Writers' groups at the Missoula Public Library meet for middle schoolers and for ages 16 to 19, and members read their work aloud and trade feedback. Missoula Parks and Recreation has after-school creative writing and comics clubs. Leaf and Quiet, a plant shop and coffeehouse, holds a monthly gathering where young writers ages 9 to 14 share poems and read from favorite books.
