Beavertail Hill State Park

Just off Interstate 90 east of Missoula, this small park offers river frontage, tipi rentals, a one-hour walking nature trail through a thick canopy of cottonwoods, and developed campsites and picnic areas.

Visit and enjoy Beavertail Hill! One-half mile of the park is located on the Clark Fork River that provides terrific fishing and floating opportunities. Boating is carry-in only. You can camp, picnic, or take a one-hour stroll through a thick canopy of cottonwoods on the park's self-guided nature trail.

Beavertail Hill State Park is located 26 miles southeast of Missoula on I-90 at exit #130. Then .25 mile south on Bonita Station Road to the park entrance.
Parking
Vehicles for campground visitors and park day-users are to be located outside the campground.
Fees
Nonresidents Day use entrance fee with a vehicle: $8 Day use entrance fee as a walk-in, bicycle or bus passenger: $4 With a Nonresident Entrance Pass: Free Campsites Campsite fees range from $4-$34 per night, depending on season and available amenities.

Winter Season Nov 1 - the Wednesday before Memorial Day Closed to all motorized traffic, walk-in only. Day-use only, no overnight camping.
