Blackfoot River Recreation Corridor

In 2015 the Montana Fish and Wildlife commission adopted regulations for a special management section of the Blackfoot River known as the Blackfoot River Recreation Corridor. The Blackfoot River Recreation Corridor exists from Russell Gates Fishing Access Site downstream to Johnsrud Fishing Access Site.

Use rules
Each float-in campsite is available by advance reservation and special permit only. Camping within the corridor is limited to permitted float-in campsites; camping outside a designated float-in camping permit is prohibited.
