About this place

This campground is located in the canyon bottom along the Clark Fork River. The site is adjacent to the highway and across the road from the river, and forested with Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine and western larch providing abundant shade. Fishing opportunities are available at the river. The Iron Mountain Trail #242, historic wagon road, terminus is in the campground.

Arrival: Off I-90 take Exit 33 at St. Regis, Montana and travel 18 miles northeast on state Highway 135. Campground entrance is on your right. From Plains Montana, take highway 200 east to Highway 135. Travel 13 miles southwest. Cascade Campground entrance is on your left.
Parking: Each site has a parking area, picnic table, and fire ring.

Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site: $15 per night (2 vehicles included per site) Group Site: $20 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per night
Hours: Open May 7, 2026- September 21, 2026. Arrival is no earlier than 2:00pm. Departure is no later than 11:00am.
Dogs: Pets must be on leash in the campground.
Use rules: You may stay up to 14 nights during a visit at this campground.
