The Missoula Nordic Ski Club is a membership-driven organization that helps promote nordic skiing throughout Western Montana, and grooms the cross country ski trails at Pattee Canyon Recreation Area, Rattlesnake National Recreation Area (Lolo National Forest), and Lubrecht Experimental Forest.

The Missoula Nordic Ski Club is a membership-driven organization that helps promote nordic skiing throughout Western Montana, and grooms the cross country ski trails at Pattee Canyon Recreation Area, Rattlesnake National Recreation Area (Lolo National Forest), and Lubrecht Experimental Forest. We help coordinate and support the ZANY youth ski program, which helps kids learn to ski.

- 15 miles east of Missoula on Highway 200 to Gold Creek Road, then 3.5 miles up Gold Creek Road to parking at Mineral Peak Road/FS 2112
- Parking
- Additional parking is available at the Iron Griz in the second and third parking areas and further out towards South Ave. Leave the first several rows for Iron Griz Patrons and UM events!

- E loop has steep climbs and descents; inner loops are family friendly
- Fees
- Free. Your membership in Missoula Nordic Ski Club supports grooming at the UM Golf Course.
- Dogs
- Dogs are not permitted on the groomed Northside and Southside XC trails. Dogs are permitted on ungroomed trails in nearby Crazy Canyon, and on gated roads off of Deer Creek Road.
- Use rules
- Please do not walk or snowshoe on groomed ski trails.
