The Bike Skills Features at Syringa and Bellevue Parks include beginner pump tracks and jump lines placed in order of difficulty. Paved routes, including the Bitterroot Trail, are mainly flat, while Pattee Canyon and Blue Mountain recreation areas have long networks of system trails. Outside the Missoula area, the Route of the Hiawatha descends gently on an old railroad grade with tunnels.
