Monture Guard Station Cabin
This facility is available only in the winter, and the area offers both motorized and non-motorized recreation opportunities. It is a completely restored ranger station facility with very comfortable heating, kitchen area, and refinished wood floors.

About this place
The two-story cabin is fully furnished and can accommodate up to eight people. Beds with mattresses are available on the second floor, while the first floor contains the kitchen, dining room and living room areas. A vault toilet outhouse is located approximately 75 yards northeast of the cabin.

- Arrival
- From the Junction of Montana highways 83 and 200 (locally known as ""Clearwater Junction"") travel east on Hwy 200 for 12.5 miles. Turn north on FS Road #89 (Monture Creek Road) and go 7.5 miles.
- Parking
- Park in the plowed parking area on the West (left) side of the road. To get to Monture Cabin from the parking area, cross the bridge across Monture Creek and stay right for approximately one mile. The winter entrance to the cabin is on the rear (east side) of the cabin.

- Overnight Use: $75 per night
- Hours
- Open December 1 to April 14.

- Pets are allowed at the cabin; owners must clean up after their pets.
