Trailhead

Ch-Paa-Qn Peak Trailhead

In addition to the campgrounds and picnic areas in the Ninemile Area, there are several unique places to visit such as the delightful Ninemile Historic Remount Depot and Ranger Station, and the fun Grand Menard Discovery Trail which is adjacent to the Grand Menard Picnic Area. Both are great places to take your family and friends.

About this place

The upper 3 miles of Road #2178 were decommissioned in 2024, necessitating the relocation of this trailhead to its current location and the construction of about 3/4 of a mile of new trail. The new location greatly improves public access, although vehicles with low clearance are still not recommended on Road #2178.
