- It is located at at MP 152 on the famous Northwest Passage Scenic Byway and All American Road (US Highway 12) along the Lochsa Wild and Scenic River, approximately an hour and half from Kooskia, ID or an hour from Lolo, MT.

- Two parking spaces are provided: one is for stock use.

- Open year round. Jerry Johnson Hot Springs day use only, hours are 6am to 8pm.
- Use rules
- No overnight camping at Jerry Johnson Hot Springs is permitted. There is a restriction for day use only, hours are 6am to 8pm. Law enforcement officers do patrol regularly and will issue citations to persons in the area outside of these posted hours.
