Mountain West Youth Track Club trains athletes in event groups, including sprints, hurdles and jumps, javelin, shot put and discus, and a small-group pole vault club. Missoula Youth Track Club is volunteer-run and gives kindergarten through 5th grade a place to learn and compete. Special Olympics Montana holds a Unified Track and Field Day for athletes with and without intellectual disabilities.
