Threemile Wildlife Management Area
Threemile WMA is managed primarily to provide winter range habitat for big game, as well as wildlife viewing and hunting opportunities. This WMA provides diverse habitat from dense conifer forest to aspen-dominated riparian areas to open grassland.

- From Florence, take the Eastside Highway (Route 203) east and then south for 6.1 miles: at Threemile Creek Road turn left (east) and proceed 3.3 miles; after passing Lone Rock School, turn left (north) and go 4.1 miles (passing Brown Valley Ranch) to where the road crosses Threemile Creek; immediately after this, take the right-hand fork of the road and follow signs to the WMA entrance.

- The department may designate and sign individual parking spaces or groups of parking spaces for vehicle parking, boat trailer parking, day use parking, and registered camper parking at public use sites. Parking outside of these designated, signed parking spaces is prohibited.

- Conservation License - MT Resident: 8.0; Conservation License - MT Resident Senior 62+: 4.0; Conservation License - MT Resident Youth 12-17: 4.0; Conservation License - Nonresident: 10.0

- Opens noon on May 15 through December 1st.

- Domestic animals (e.g., pets) within a developed area must be physically restrained or on a leash no greater than eight feet in length at all times.
